Below is a link to an Excel spreadsheet that we have created to help people set a baseline and monitor changes in Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). There are seven (IADLs) in the spreadsheet. The "best" score is the highest for each IADL, with a total possible score of 31 in our tool. We don't claim it is Harvard University endorsed, but we hope it is helpful.
These Instrumental ADLs are separate, of course from the most basic ADLs, such as bathing, eating, and so forth. We will also talk about those in our blog, but we feel those are more obvious and easier to measure.
